Bur Juman Centre
BurJuman (Arabic: بر جمان) is a shopping mall
in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located on Khalid bin Al Waleed Street in
Bur Dubai, BurJuman is considered to be one of the oldest malls in the country.
An underground Dubai Metro station for the Red Line and Green Line is currently
situated at this location. BurJuman is at a prime location between the old
centre of Dubai, along Dubai Creek, and the emerging business district of Sheikh
Zayed Road. BurJuman, like Al Ghurair City, is owned by the Al Ghurair Group.

Deira City Centre
Deira City Centre (Arabic: ديرة سيتي سنتر) is
a large shopping mall in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Located in the community
of Deira, Deira City Centre was the largest mall in Dubai prior to the
establishment of Ibn Battuta Mall and Mall of the Emirates. Deira City Centre
was established in 1996, is spread across 1,300,000 square feet (121,000 m2) and
includes a Carrefour superstore and it used to have an Ikea outlet before it
moved to a bigger premises at the Festival Waterfront Centre. Deira City Centre
has over 340 stores, including a multiplex, food court and a hotel, and attracts
over 20 million visitors a year.

Dubai Festival City
Dubai Festival City (Arabic: دبي فستيفال سيتي)
is a large residential, business and entertainment development in the city of
Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Touted as a "city-within-a-city", Dubai Festival
City is the Middle East's largest mixed-use development: all elements for work,
living, and leisure will be contained within the project. Once completed
Festival City will comprise a series of residential communities, numerous
hotels, malls, a golf course and other entertainment sites, and a full suite of
public services, including schools.

The Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping
mall based on total area and sixth largest by gross leasable area. Located in
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the Burj Dubai complex, the
20-billion-dollar project is the medium in total area with 1,200 shops. Access
to the mall is provided via Doha Street, rebuilt as a double-decker road in
April 2009.
Twice delayed, Dubai Mall opened on November 4, 2008, with about 600 retailers,
marking the world's largest-ever mall opening in retail history. However it is
not the largest in gross leasable space, and is surpassed in that category by
several malls including the South China Mall, which is the world's largest,
Golden Resources Mall, SM City North Edsa, and SM Mall of Asia.
The Dubai Mall has recorded a visitor turn-out of more than 60,000 tickets sold
for the Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre in the first five days, following
its opening. The Dubai Mall has hosted over 3 million visitors over the month of
April 2009, while the mall attracts more than 750,000 visitors every week.

Dubai Marina Mall
Dubai Marina Mall is a shopping mall located in
Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mall is built on an area of
42,000 square meters, and includes restaurants, cafes, a cineplex and children's
entertainment area. The mall opened on 22 December 2008; however, some parts of
the mall are still under construction, and are expected to be completed in late
2009.
The mall has 169 retail stores, with a gross leasable area (GLA) of 390,000
square feet (about 36,000 square meters).

Dubai Outlet Mall
Dubai Outlet Mall (DOM) is a shopping center,
part of Dubai Outlet City (DOC) in Dubailand. The mall opened in August 2007 and
is located on the Dubai-Al Ain Road, or Route 66 near the Al Ruwayya interchange
with the Dubai Bypass Road. The complex features an ice-rink and includes a
number of restaurants, such as the Automatic Restaurant, Burger King, Cosi,
Hatam, KFC, McDonalds, Skyler’s, Starbucks, Stone Fire Pizza.
Shops and brands include Adidas, Aizone, Al Hama, Al Tayer Group, Aldo, Allied
Enterprises, Anne Valerie Hash, Aquascutum, Azadea Group, Azarro, Bally,
Boutique One, Calvin Klein, Christopher Kane, Diesel, Dries Van Noten, Elie
Tahari, Esprit, Evisu, Grand Stores, Guess, Issey Miyake, Jil Sander, Kenneth
Cole, MAF Fashion, Mango, Marni, Massimo Dutti, Magrabi Optical, Mango, Massimo
Dutti, Max Mara, Mexx, Nike, Nina Ricci, Nine West, Paris Gallery, Puma, Reebok,
Rodeo Drive, Salam Studio & Stores, Tchibo, Ted Lapidus, Thakoon, Tommy
Hilfiger, Villeroy and Boch.
There is an expansion programme to double the current size of Dubai Outlet Mall,
currently there are 800 shops which is more than three times what it opened with
despite no expansion work carried out yet, and more than almost any other
shopping center in Dubai except for The Dubai Mall.construction of phase II will
double the size of shops upon completion in 2010. Currently around 12,000-15,000
visitors visit the mall daily during the week,and 20,000-25,000 visitors per day
at weekends.

Festival Waterfront Centre
The Festival Waterfront Centre, is a retail
power centre which includes IKEA, HyperPanda supermarket (first Panda
hypermarket outside of Saudi Arabia), Plug-ins ElectroniX and Ace Hardware (the
largest outside North America).
The shopping centre in Dubai Festival City, known as the Festival Centre, opened
on 1 March 2007. The Festival Centre contains a pool of water with small
fountains, a large glass ceiling, and many shops.

Ibn Battuta Mall
The Ibn Battuta Mall is a large shopping mall
on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai close to Interchange 6 for Jebel Ali Village.
It is named after famous traveller and explorer Ibn Battuta. This project was
completed by the Nakheel Properties group in early 2005. The names of the six
courts of the mall are named after the countries to which Ibn Battuta travelled.
The mall is split into six main courts: China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia and
Andalusia.
Linking shopping and circulation areas, all the major outlets found in almost
all of the shopping malls elsewhere in Dubai and the Middle East are
represented. Géant, a large French supermarket chain has a store here. The mall
is an example of one of the many ambitious projects by Nakheel Properties in
Dubai.
Australian retail giant Myer has announced that it will have a store completed
by 2010
Ibn Battuta Mall boasts the only IMAX theatre in the country and also offers a
21-screen Cinema Megaplex, located in the China Court. There are two large food
courts, located at both ends (Andalusia and China) of the mall, as well as
several coffee shops, scattered throughout the mall.
The mall features exhibits of ancient technological inventions, especially from
the Middle East. These include as a centrepiece a modern full-size working
reproduction of an elephant clock, an Islamic invention consisting of a
water-powered clock in the form of an elephant.

Lamcy Plaza
Lamcy Plaza is a shopping mall located in
Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mall is owned by Lal's Group and was opened on
March 17, 1997 in the locality of Oud Metha. With a total retail floorspace of
400,000 square feet (37,000 m2), Lamcy Plaza is one of the largest malls in
Dubai.
Lamcy Plaza claims to be the only mall in Dubai that offers Air Miles to
shoppers.
The mall is home to over 150 stores and includes a food court, multiplex,
hypermarket and outdoor parking space.

Mall of Arabia
Mall of Arabia is a shopping mall to be built
as part of the City of Arabia in the Dubailand theme park premises in Dubai. It
was announced by the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group and will include leisure
and entertainment facilities, a theatre stage, and feature an ancient Middle
Eastern exterior. Its Phase 1 has a gross leasable area of 4,000,000 sq ft
(370,000 m2); however, when all phases are completed, it will have a final gross
leasable area of 10,000,000 sq ft (930,000 m2), surpassing the South China Mall
in Dongguan, China, and the SM Mall of Asia in Manila, Philippines as the
world's largest shopping mall. It has two levels of retail and entertainment,
rooftop hotels and numerous leisure facilities. There will be 10,400 covered car
park spaces in its first phase.
In August 2005 the Starbucks Coffee Co. of Seattle, Washington announced that
the world's largest Starbucks cafe will be built in the centre court of the
mall, symbolizing the Middle East's long association with coffee and the
expanding business partnership between Starbucks and the growing Dubai
marketplace.

Mall of the Emirates
The Mall of the Emirates is a shopping mall in
the Al Barsha district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently owned by
Majid Al Futtaim (MAF Holding). The mall was designed by the American
architectural firm, F+A Architects. Prior to the opening of the Dubai Mall (the
world's largest mall), the Mall of the Emirates was the largest shopping mall in
the Middle East.
It contains approximately 2,400,000 square feet (223,000 m2) of shops and the
entire mall forms a total of approximately 6.5 million square feet. In a global
perspective, the World's second largest shopping mall, the South China Mall in
Dongguan, China, contains approximately 7,100,000 square feet (660,000 m2) of
shopping space in a complex that totals approximately 9,600,000 square feet
(892,000 m2).

Mercato Shopping Mall
Mercato Shopping Mall is a shopping centre in
Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mall is designed to look like a
Mediterranean town during the European Renaissance in either Italy, France, or
Spain. Opening in 2002, the mall cost 120 million dirhams. The name "mercato"
comes from the Italian word meaning "market."

Mirdiff City Centre
Mirdiff City Centre is a large shopping center
under construction in the Mirdif area of Dubai UAE,The Mirdiff City Centre
project was first announced in April 2007 with construction beginning in August
2007. Expected opening date in the first quarter of 2010. Mirdiff City Centre
will be similar in size to the Mall of the Emirates. Mirdif City Centre
comprises 3,116,451 sq. ft of gross floor area spread over a service basement
ground, and 1st floor, and 180,000 square metres of shopping space, Mirdif City
Centre (MCC) will offer roughly the same gross leasable area (GLA) as Mall of
the Emirates, the largest malloutside North America and the first with an
attached indoor ski slope. Upon completion the mall will include 7,000 car
parking spaces and 430 retail outlets, including Carrefour the world's second
largest retailer.
The Mirdiff shopping centre is expected to attract an expected footfall of 18-20
million per year, compared to approximately 21 million in Deira City Centre and
25 million in Mall of the Emirates.
The mall contains 430 shops with adjacent 3 level parking for over 7000 cars, a
Magic Planet Entertainment zone which will contain a sky diving experience as
well as indoor 5-a-side football pitches. In addition the mall will contain 8
standard and 2 gold class cinemas and a number of brands such as Debenhams,
Zara, Home Centre, Paris Gallery, Virgin Megastores and a gym with pool, two
food courts with about 60 different eating outlets, cafes, restaurants, a
Carrefour hypermarket, a 10 screen cinema complex, an outside cinema, and an "iFly"
indoor skydiving center.

Royal Mall
Royal Mall is a shopping mall under
construction in Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mall is being built
on 130,000 square feet of land. The mall, when completed, will be consist of a
two-storey building, and will contain more than 32 retail stores.
Once completed the mall will feature entertainment, dining and culture, gold,
watches, jewellery showrooms, a food court, electronics and computer shops, and
children’s wear.

Wafi City
Wafi City is a mixed-use development in Dubai,
United Arab Emirates. The comlex includes a mall, hotel, restaurants,
residences, and a nightclub. The "city" is styled after Ancient Egypt. This
themed environment includes columns reminiscent of Karnak, small pyramids, and
images of pharaohs. All the walls are the color of the light brown stone that
can be found on all structures in Ancient Egypt.
The main feature of Wafi City is the mall, called Wafi Mall. Opened in 2001, the
mall includes over 200 stores. Included in the mall is a small 80,000 square
metre (861,113 square foot) theme park called Encounter Zone.
